- WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE PRESBYTERIAN?
To be Presbyterian is to be governed according to the pattern of elders seen in the Old and New Testaments. Members with special gifts for leadership are recognized through congregational election. They are then trained and ordained as elders to become a part of the Session, through which, along with the pastor(s), govern the church corporately. In turn, the individual churches send representatives to meetings of churches in their geographical area called a Presbytery, and that body is overseen by a meeting to which all the churches send representatives called the General Assembly Back to Top
- WHAT ARE YOUR WORSHIP SERVICES LIKE?
Our worship services provide a blended style that incorporates the traditional as well as the contemporary. Through the use of choirs, bell choir, praise band, solos, and ensembles, we seek to provide a fresh and meaningful experience with God. The goal is for all to draw near to the heart of God and allow worship to strengthen our relationship with Jesus Christ. Back to Top
- WHAT PROGRAMS DO YOU HAVE FOR MY CHILDREN?
Children's Ministries seeks to create an environment that is engaging to children and adults, where meaningful relationships are developed, and where the Bible is taught as true and relevant. Sunday School, Children's Choir, Kids and monthly Children's events are great opportunities for children to enjoy time with friends and loving adults, while learning the truth of Christ's love for them.
We also have an active ministry to Junior High and High School youth. It is designed to help teens build healthy relationships with each other and become fully devoted followers of Christ.

- DO YOU HAVE CLASSES TO HELP ME LEARN MORE ABOUT JESUS, CHRISTIANITY, AND YOUR CHURCH?

- HOW DO PRESBYTERIANS UNDERSTAND BAPTISM?
Baptism is a sign and seal of God's covenant by which a person is admitted into the visible church. In the case of an adult or child, baptism looks back to the time when God's covenant was fulfilled in his life and he became a believer in Jesus Christ. In the case of an infant, it represents the commitment of a parent(s) to nurture the child in accordance with the Christian faith. It also affirms the reality that God welcomes infants to the Kingdom of God, even as we wait for the child to confirm their faith at a later time and receive Christ as Lord and Savior. Baptism represents the washing away of our sins and a vow to serve and support the church. Baptism and Holy Communion represent the two sacraments observed by the Presbyterian Church and most other churches since the Reformation Back to Top
